Have you been listening to podcasts and wonder how hosts find their guests? Do you have a unique story that others should hear about or are you an expert on something that you could teach others? You can pitch yourself (or hire me to pitch you!) to be interviewed on podcasts! I’m sharing some of my best tips and tools with you so that you can start landing interviews and not only educating others with your story but growing your audience while doing it.
We all have something that needs to be shared with others.

What Is Podcast Pitching?
Podcast pitching is basically public relations but specifically for podcasts. I pitch my clients to podcast hosts to be interviewed by sharing with them not only their experience but what kind of information the podcast audience will benefit from. It’s important to remember that this is not about YOU, it’s about the podcast host and their audience.
How Do You Create A Pitch?
My clients go through an in-depth interview process with me and I then create an entire pitch kit for them. We define the topics they are an expert on and can speak on, what their goals are for being interviewed and who their target audience is. I research podcasts, listen to episodes and tie it all together in a personalized pitch email. As in all things, follow-up is key!
My Simplified Pitch Mastermind
At the time of recording this, I mentioned I’d be coming out with a course. I’ve decided I want to do a mastermind instead so that I can fully focus on those of you who want to pitch yourselves or others. The My Simplified Pitch Mastermind will be a 6 week intensive in which we meet weekly and go over my exact steps to pitching. You’ll have homework to create your own pitch kit and by the end of 6 weeks, you’ll be able to not only pitch yourself, but land interviews as well!
If you’re ready to define your future, then it’s time for you to start pitching podcasts!
