Last year I pre-ordered Everything Is Figureoutable by Marie Forleo and literally devoured it, the moment it downloaded! If you’re like me though, you might not have heard of Marie Forleo. I learned about the amazing Marie in 2018 but since I was in the corporate world prior to that, she wasn’t on my radar…but her words were! “Everything is figureoutable” is one of Marie’s known phrases and it’s one of my favorites. You can truly figure out anything if you simply try. I’m sharing with you my biggest takeaways from this incredible book and want you all to grab a copy ASAP!
When you take the perspective that everything is figureoutable, then everything shifts.
What we’re talking about
– Who Is Marie Forleo?
– You Get To Decide Your Future
– The Fear Of Failure
Who Is Marie Forleo?
Marie Forleo is a Jersey girl who has a big personality to match her fabulous hair and she’s one of Oprah’s favorite people…enough said! Marie has literally done it all in order to achieve her dream career including bartending and cleaning toilets. She is not above doing what it takes and wants you to be the same way. Marie chased her dream of becoming a dancer and ended up on MTV and so much more!
You Get To Decide Your Future
By now, you know I’m a firm believer that you are in charge of your future, no one else and Marie agrees with me. You can make up excuses as to why something won’t turn out the way you want or why it’s impossible to follow your dream but Marie’s motto is that “excuses are dream killers,” so stop making them! Only you are limiting yourself by making excuses because you truly can figure out to do anything if you simply try.
The Fear Of Failure
If you’re afraid of failing, then it’s time to change your mindset. You can win or you can learn, but you can never lose. I am a great example of someone who has leaped into the unknown and simply gone for it. I’ve suffered from failing but it’s really just a Faithful Attempt In Learning…meaning as long as you learn, you can never fail!
Everything truly is figureoutable!
