How Allie Casazza Built An Empire
Allie has built a 7-figure empire and created a movement, not a business. Starting as a blogger, Allie knew she had a message that others needed to hear. In an effort to get her voice out into the world, Allie created a post that she knew would go viral about throwing out her childrens’ toys and how they ended up playing for many more hours utilizing their imagination and truly “playing”. After waking up at 4am and putting in countless hours, Allie’s husband quit his job to spend more time with their four kids which enabled Allie to create the content she wanted to put out into the world. Her post went viral and today she enjoys working 4 days a week for a few hours a day.
What Being A Minimalist Means To Allie
Allie doesn’t consider herself a true minimalist. She doesn’t care about counting socks or pairs of jeans and is definitely NOT a fan of a capsule wardrobe! To Allie, being a minimalist is about having less of what doesn’t matter to you and more of what does. Too much “stuff” causes anxiety and anxiety causes increased stress which increases your cortisol levels and affects your body and mental health. An important reminder is that what takes up your space, takes up your time.
Allie Casazza’s Advice On Starting A Business
Allie’s advice for starting a business is to begin with an aerial view of your life as a whole. Decide on what kind of life you want to design and whether that includes creating content or offering a service to others. Do a brain dump on what you want to do and start doing it. Create the content, write the blog post, hit record and just do it. If you discover it’s not what you want, then choose to pivot. You can do whatever you want to do and it’s up to you to get up and move. You’re not a tree embedded into the fibers of the earth, so feel free to change!
