Changes I’ve Made In My Business
In the past year, I’ve made some major business changes that include changing my business name from My Simplified Life to The MSL Collective. I realized that the old name didn’t fit my vision, services or goals. I’ve niched down in my offerings and the clients I serve. I’ve also been working less while making more. You can roll your eyes because I would do the same thing, but when you niche down and get very specific about who you serve and what you do, you create more abundance in your business.
Embracing Fear & Kicking Imposter Syndrome To The Curb
Two years ago I left a career that I knew, was good at and succeeded at for a complete unknown. There was fear, but this past year I’ve learned to not only embrace fear but to let it help guide me. I’ve said no even when it was scary to do so because it made me happier in the end. I also learned that I couldn’t be everything for everyone, nor could I always be available like I had. I also struggled with imposter syndrome even though I never thought I had it before. I started to question my own authority and expertise, but instead of letting it knock me down, I made a list of all the reasons of why I am worthy and capable.
We all have fear, especially when it comes to being vulnerable and sharing our voice, BUT we can change lives by sharing our journeys. Podcasting is a platform that allows us to do all of that and more and has brought me messages from strangers who have said I am helping them on their journey and inspiring them. That’s such a gift to receive!
I Have Found My Passion & My Purpose
Two years ago I started a quest to find my passion and my purpose and I have found it. I know that I am meant to share my story and the stories of others to inspire others. I have found something I love that is meaningful and makes me money. I enjoy getting up every day and working, even when it means long hours sometimes. To me, it’s worth it. You can use your voice to help find your passion and purpose and to help others. You can also find work that you enjoy doing because you deserve to enjoy this life.
