Public relations success can take time. The silence in response to ongoing pitches can be deafening. But how can we be more patient and reach PR success?
A good PR strategy will take a minimum of 6 months, whereas a podcast pitching strategy can be a shorter timeline of one to two months. This means that you’ll “normally” start to see results of interviews, media mentions and more within that amount of time.
It’s key to remember that nothing is guaranteed in PR. A publicist shouldn’t guarantee coverage in any amount of time but can offer you their average timelines based on previous PR strategies with other clients. Nothing is guaranteed…unless you’re buying advertising!
