Julie’s story of being a librarian, mother, author, and writer
Julie talks about how she originally thought she would have a career as an OBGYN, and all about the different paths she took to find the one she now walks on. She went from Chipotle, hotels, pharmacy technician, nursing assistant, and even an esthetician for a day, to where she is now on her true path. She tells us about how she loves to be helping and unlocking people, and it is no surprise that all her past roles have been those that serve others.

How Julie simplifies her life
Julie talks about her podcast, ‘Ask a Librarian’, and how she finds it such a thrill to be able to talk to people that she loved and followed for so many years. She tells us that even though she loves it, the time investment involved was taking her further from her true message and purpose of the show, and upon realizing she doesn’t have the capacity for it, is now excited to be co-hosting on the ‘Moms Don’t Have Time to Read Books Podcast’. This allows Julie to still do what she loves, which is talking to people that she loves and shining a light on what they are doing, while also having the time to focus on her own goals.
