Keep your pitch positive! ⁠

This might sound like a no-brainer, but it's not. Here's a pitch I received just this week....⁠
⁠
She started by saying she loves my podcast and named my most recent episode...she didn't say why she liked it nor did she dig deeper than looking at last week's episode. ⁠
⁠
She then said..."there's a gap in your content...you should be covering xyz." ⁠
⁠
Then she pitched her client who covers xyz. ⁠
⁠
Don't be negative in your pitch. ⁠
⁠
How could she have remained positive and rephrased it?⁠
⁠
"I noticed you haven't covered xyz and thought it would be great for your listeners to learn about from my client because...."⁠
⁠
That would have not only been positive, but showed that she'd done her homework.⁠
⁠

Time…we all have 24 hours in a day, but we all spend those hours differently.

Yes, Beyoncé has the same 24 hours as you and I, but she also has different resources than you and I, therefore her 24 hours don’t look anything like mine!

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how I’m spending my time, not just on a daily basis but looking at my calendar as well.

What am I squandering my time with? Who am I letting dictate my calendar? How can I take control of my time and prioritize what I want and need to do?

I’m sharing the answers to all of these questions and how I’ve been working on taking control of my time and calendar.

Time is finite and it’s up to us to decide how we want to spend the time we have.
